Okay, so I haven't quite been slaving away these last few years. Meg has run a lot of the process server business we own together (doing the books, payroll, client relations) leaving me free to get a good team of registered process servers in place. And our new office manager, Maria, is picking things up quickly from Meg. Point is, I'm rarely out serving papers anymore. But the time has come to semi-retire, and let the process server business we've been building for thirty years work for us instead of the other way around. So I'm in San Jose. Costa Rica, that is. We first came down to Costa Rica ten years ago and fell in love with the place. And why wouldn't we? It's gorgeous, the people are warm and friendly, and the cost of living is much lower than California. Of course, I'll be heading to the Pacific coast soon to find a good fishing boat and sign the lease on a house, but for now I'm in San Jose finalizing the retirement visa
